Technology, Talent and the Future of Regions

New technology leaders bring deep expertise in digital banking, payments, data and AI to help Regions deliver better experiences for customers and associates.

From making everyday banking easier to helping associates serve customers more effectively, technology is playing an increasingly important role in how Regions serves customers and grows its business. As the company continues to invest in digital banking, artificial intelligence, data and payments capabilities, Regions is adding to its technology leadership team to help advance these priorities and position the bank for the future.

  • Daniel Seay is the Divisional Chief Information Officer for Wealth, Corporate Business Banking, Corporate Functions and Enterprise Payments. Seay joins Regions from Fifth Third, where he led commercial banking technology initiatives, including embedded finance and payments modernization. Based in Charlotte, he will lead efforts to enhance the payment capabilities and banking solutions that commercial and wealth clients rely on every day.

 

  • Ravi Chirumamilla is the Divisional Chief Information Officer for Consumer, Marketing and Digital. Chirumamilla brings a strong background in consumer banking, digital banking and technology transformation, most recently serving as EVP and Divisional CIO at KeyBank. Based in Birmingham, his leadership will help Regions deliver more seamless, personalized banking experiences for customers.

 

  • Steve Aufderheide is the Divisional Chief Information Officer of Enterprise Technologies, a newly created role that brings together teams focused on data, AI and automation. Aufderheide joins Regions with extensive experience leading technology modernization and transformation efforts across the banking industry, most recently serving as Chief Technology Officer and Interim Chief Information Officer at Comerica Bank. Based in Atlanta, he will help align key capabilities to drive greater efficiency across the organization and deliver more value for customers.
