Building Growth. Deepening Roots. Regions Bank Names Brian Jackson as Savannah Market Executive

Jackson’s move to Regions signals plans for a deeper Savannah presence from one of the South’s leading banks.

By Jeremy King | March 24, 2026

SAVANNAH, Ga. – March 24, 2026 – Regions Bank on Tuesday announced longtime Savannah banker Brian Jackson has joined the company and will serve as Regions’ market executive leading the bank’s growth in Savannah and the Lowcountry.

Jackson is an experienced commercial banker who has served business clients throughout the area since 2015. He will report to Regions Commercial Banking Leader Russell Morgan, who pointed to the area’s strong economy and Regions’ plans to expand its local Commercial Banking presence.

“Savannah’s Garden City Terminal, which is both the largest and fastest-growing container terminal on the continent, positions the city as a business gateway to the South,” Morgan said. “Regions Bank has considerable port-related experience in places like Houston and Mobile, and we’re prepared to replicate that success in Savannah. The automotive and aerospace industries, military presence, and tourism are also fueling growth. From businesses to consumers, we are illustrating the Regions Bank difference.”

Part of that difference is Regions360. At Regions, bankers don’t work in silos. Instead, through Regions360, members of Regions’ Commercial Banking, Consumer Banking, Mortgage Banking and Wealth Management divisions work hand-in-hand to take a more holistic view of clients’ needs. The results are more comprehensive services designed to help clients reach short- and long-term goals.

“Brian’s experience and his vision for growth directly complement our own plans in Savannah and beyond,” added John Turner, Chairman, President and CEO of Regions Financial Corp. “This is the first step in a deliberate process of deepening our Commercial Banking presence in the area. We look forward to welcoming more commercial bankers to Regions as we build on our legacy of service to businesses and individual consumers.”

Regions’ Consumer Banking division operates nearby retail bank branches across Savannah and the Lowcountry. Services for branch-banking customers and small-business owners are distinguished by Regions Greenprint®.

Through Greenprint conversations, bankers take the time to listen to people’s unique needs and help them develop a customized roadmap toward accomplishing their financial objectives.

As market executive, Jackson will lead local-market collaboration among Regions’ teams. He pointed to Regions’ Treasury Management services as another key differentiator. The bank’s Treasury Management division posted record results in 2025 and helps business clients improve their cash flow, streamline payables, manage liquidity and reduce exposures to unnecessary risks.

“This is a tremendous opportunity to bring all of Regions’ capabilities together in reaching more clients across Greater Savannah and the Lowcountry,” Jackson said. “We are focused on elevating our support for businesses, their employees and local households with tailored financial solutions. We also want to increase our volunteerism and community support in line with Regions’ Community Engagement strategy, which is designed to promote education, financial wellness, and greater prosperity.”

Jackson’s service area will include the Coastal Empire from Savannah to Brunswick and the Golden Isles. In the South Carolina Lowcountry, he will lead Commercial Banking operations in communities including Beaufort, Bluffton and Hilton Head.

With over 20 years of banking experience, Jackson joins Regions from Great Oaks Bank, where he led Savannah and Hilton Head business banking. Prior experience includes roles with Cadence, Wells Fargo and Bank of America in Savannah and the former SunTrust Bank in Lakeland, Fla. He earned a bachelor’s degree in management and finance from the University of South Carolina Beaufort and is a graduate of the South Carolina Bankers School.
