Spanning the nation, and most of the continent, our search knows no bounds. Yes, Good Pets is back.
With a vengeance.
But let’s be honest. We at Doing More Today are merely a middleman. These latest galleries of fur baby goodness are brought to you by our incredible Regions Bank associates. We asked and they delivered with incredible photos and stories.
This time, we go from Vermont to Utah, New York to South Florida, and all points in between. Because good pets are universal. And here’s the proof.
From Missouri, we’ve got Bogey, an English bulldog who spends Sundays in front of the TV wearing his favorite football jersey.
From Florida, Anakin stays cloaked to keep us safe from the dark side.
From Tennessee, Scooter has the kind of smile that melts any heart. You’ll see why he’s so popular at the dog park.
From Alabama, we’ve got Sansa, who carries herself with the carriage of a canine royal.
And from Texas, Zeus is a big talker who masters tricks like a Greek god.
So, before we start, just one final thank you. We asked for good photos, and you delivered with digital greatness – and in record numbers. We are deeply appreciative.
Now, take a few minutes to peruse and let the smiles begin.

Oliver / Human: Anna Peterson / Tampa, Florida / At about 6 months old, Oliver was rescued from a kill shelter and put into a local rescue to be adopted … that’s how we found each other! Otis / Human: Kim Bailey / Hoover, Alabama / This is Otis. He is not actually my pet, but a homeless cat for whom I provide food and shelter (especially in the winter). He has a cozy insulated space with a pet heating bed, so he really hunkered down during the cold winter weather. He is a very sweet cat who loves to roam and tries to sneak into our garage when we are driving away, but my dog, Mowgli, is not interested in a cat brother.

Wompy, the one closest to the snow, was brave enough to take a few steps into it while Poe, eyes wide, was right behind. Toulouse (the tuxedo cat) was too chicken to go close to the door. They are very cuddly and kept us very warm those few days!

Uncle David / Human: Allison Elliott / Covington, Louisiana / Uncle David is a rescue. He was returned by his recent adopter for his “love bites,” but we found he just needed lots of attention and love. Whiskey / Kevin Webb / Canyon Country, California / Whiskey was at a no-kill shelter that rescues animals from kill shelters here in Southern California. When we visited, he stood out. For one, his energy was frantic, and he acted like a kitten even though he was already an adult. We were told he may never be adopted because he would likely have life-long eye infections that would be costly and time consuming. That was enough for us. We adopted him, took him home and the first thing he did was sidle up to and rub both of our dogs.

Troubles / Human: Patti Dailey / Birmingham, Alabama / Look, ma! See how high I can fly!

Titan / Human: Roberta Ashe / Selmer, Tennessee / Titan is Aurora and Togo’s son. He is a husky who thinks he is a pointer.

He functions as the household rooster – calling loudly every morning when the sunrise peers through the bay window and into his cage. There is no sleeping in. Rammer / Human: Tiffany Andrews / Wilmer, Alabama / Named after the famous football chant, “Rammer Jammer,” and we live just outside Mobile. In the fall, you can find me barking for the Tide and playing football fetch with my humans. In January, I experienced snow for the first time and thought it was the greatest thing ever!

Piper / Human: Amy Garnett / Cherry Grove, South Carolina / We recently moved here, and she loves sunbathing on the beach although she hates the water! This girl is just like her mama with our shared love of beach life!

Ozzy / Human: Jessica Watson / Aiken, South Carolina / Ozzy is the “old man” in our family. He will be 12 in March and spends most of his days napping on the back of the couch, napping on the porch or napping in someone’s lap. Maggie Mae / Human: Pamela Kline / Birmingham, Alabama / Maggie is the new fur baby, full of mischief and fun!

Luci and Emily / Kevin Webb / Canyon Country, California / Luci and Emily were rescued from a Hoover, Alabama, shelter, where both had been for some time due to their behavior. My wife went to the shelter to get one dog and fell in love with Emily. I bonded with Luci, so we left with both. They bonded immediately and have been inseparable ever since.

Dusa / Human: Jodie Missildine / Palestine, Texas
Medusa May is a mixed breed rescue. She showed up at our home in late April last year. Her first visit to the vet revealed she was dumped off at only about 8-10 weeks old.
