We recently spoke with Lee Wynn about his career path, his current role and what lessons he’s learned along the way. As current head of Digital Servicing, Lee has spent nearly a decade at Regions where he’s fueled his passion to create seamless, secure, and intuitive digital solutions for customers.
Discovering Digital After Law School
Wynn’s journey to Regions is one of transformation and discovery.
Initially, he pursued a path in law, earning a degree in pre-law at Samford University and becoming a certified paralegal. However, after three years of law school, Lee realized his passions were elsewhere. He reflects, “There’s doing what you do – and there’s doing what you love.” This moment marked a turning point, leading him to seek roles that allowed him to drive change and solve complex problems.
There’s doing what you do – and there’s doing what you love.
Wynn joined Regions almost 11 years ago, initially as a Project Manager in the Project Management Office. His work with Regions quickly ignited a passion for agile – prompting him to become certified to teach and coach agile practices.
From there, Wynn’s career took off as he moved into Digital, eventually leading Regions.com channels and working his way up to Digital Channel Group Manager. In February 2025, Wynn took on his latest role as the head of Digital Servicing, where he continues to build on his expertise in digital transformation and customer experience.
In his current role, Wynn is responsible for shaping the future of Regions’ online banking and mobile experiences, leveraging data, customer insights and industry trends to deepen relationships with customers and enhance their digital interactions.
Keys to Success: Teamwork + Empowerment
Career highlights – and the two achievements Wynn is most proud of – are building a cohesive, mission-focused team and being part of the Elevate Team Performance Cohort – a program sponsored by Learning and Development that takes leaders from across Regions to enhance their leadership skills.
He emphasizes that a supportive and collaborative team, where everyone respects each other’s perspectives, is vital to success.
Career Advice for Aspiring Leaders
“The world and the workplace are more interesting when you’re willing to be yourself, “Lee says. “If you have an idea, propose it, try it, and show it. Enable yourself to go out there and prove yourself right, or if you’re wrong, you’ve learned what you can do better next time.”

Lee Wynn – Living a Full Life
Outside of work, Wynn is a basketball fan and a proud comic book collector.
With a love for jazz and rap music, he also collects vinyl records and even Malcolm X speeches. When asked what he would do if he weren’t working at Regions, he says he would be a children’s book author.
For Wynn, exploring new interests, like recently learning to play the bass guitar, is part of maintaining a balanced life. “You’re never too old or too busy to explore something that makes you happy,” he says.
