At TEDx Birmingham 2016, young adult novelist Randi Pink talks about working to stop fear and misconceptions about race, religion and communities.
“A lot of people live in a bubble,” Pink said. “A lot of people live in a neighborhood they’re comfortable in, and they don’t experience much outside that bubble.
“Nothing changes unless we decide to step outside that bubble, burst it, run away from it and leave it in the past.”
